Since purchasing my home just over a year ago I have been doing many projects. Something that I wanted to have up before this Christmas was a farmhouse coat rack to go over the entry bench. I had purchased the hooks when I first closed escrow and it was a very easy project that only took about an hour (plus paint drying time) to complete. 
Most of my projects I complete I try to utilize as many recycled items as I can. For this project I purchased the hooks from Amazon. They came in a pack of 12 and I only utilized 6 of them so have leftovers for other areas in my home. The other items needed were screws, paint (I used what matched my existing walls so it would blend), a 1×4 that was cut to 6 feet in length and an old fence board from the property cut to the same.
